The ticket for the Nintendo booth only gives you the opportunity to line up and play the Super Smash Bros. game at the time you registered for.

Will other games be available to play at the Nintendo booth that don’t require a ticket?

Yes – there will be other games available at the booth that will not require you to register for a ticket. Those games will be available to play on a first-come, first-served basis.

What is the cost of a ticket?

Tickets will be free of charge.

Will I be able to sign up on-site for a ticket?

No, we will not be taking any sign-ups or providing any tickets on-site.

Can I register for more than one ticket?

Guests can only secure up to one ticket for the entire show to play either "For Fun" OR "For Glory."

What are the different ticket types?

There are two ticket types that allow you to play the Super Smash Bros. game:

"For Fun": Play casually against other people

"For Glory": Test your skills and see how you stack up against other competitive players. Winners advance to play in up to three rounds, after which an overall winner is declared.

Will there be a waitlist available for tickets?

No, there will not be a waitlist for tickets.

If someone doesn’t show up for their designated time, will there be a standby line?

There will be a very limited capacity Super Smash Bros. standby line located behind the Nintendo booth (near the perimeter restrooms) in the West Exhibit Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center. There will be signage that clearly identifies where this area is located. Based on safety requirements and very limited capacity - we will not allow show attendees to linger in this area once the capacity of the standby line is full.

Guests are welcome to wait for a chance to play on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, due to the set number of players we can accommodate each day, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to play Super Smash Bros. on Nintendo Switch by waiting in this line.

How early can I get in line?

Attendees are welcome to arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to your registered time to begin lining up in the designated game play line.

All attendees must be in line for their designated time no later than 30 minutes past your registered time. It is highly recommended that ticket holders show up no more than 5 minutes prior to the start of the ticketed time. For example, if you are scheduled for 10AM, you may arrive as early as 9:55AM, but must be in line by no later than 10:30AM.

If you arrive after 30 minutes past your registered time, Nintendo reserves the right to decline your game play ticket and provide entry to attendees waiting in the standby line.

Nintendo will not replace game play tickets for those that miss their designated time.

What if the line to get into the convention center is so long that I miss the time printed on my ticket?

You must be in line for your designated time no later than 30 minutes past your registered time. If you are not in line by the 30-minute cut-off deadline, Nintendo reserves the right to decline your game play ticket and provide entry to attendees waiting in the standby line.

Please take all steps necessary to make it to the designated Nintendo booth line and ticketed time.

Keep in mind the time needed to account for enhanced safety and security measures getting into the Los Angeles Convention Center, entry to exhibit halls and travel time to and from exhibit halls and booths.

Where do I go to line up during my designated time?

Once you arrive to the Nintendo Booth there will be signage on-site to help direct where you should line up based on the type of game play ticket you have – For Fun (Non-Competitive) or For Glory (Competitive).

How does the ticket work?

Once you have successfully registered for a game play ticket – you will receive a confirmation email that includes a QR Code, game play ticket type, date, and time that you will be able to play Super Smash Bros. at the Nintendo Booth.

You will be asked to present your game play ticket at the designated line that matches your ticket type (competitive or non-competitive game play) to gain access to the Super Smash Bros. game play line. Your game play ticket will then be scanned prior to entering.

Do I need to print out my ticket?

You can either show your game play ticket to a staff member electronically (via the Eventbrite app or on your phone) or print out your game play ticket.

We recommend printing your game play ticket if possible to ensure that it is available to be scanned upon entry.

Please be advised that it is the responsibility of every attendee to present their valid game play ticket to Nintendo staff when requested.

Nintendo is not liable if you run out of battery or experience cellular service issues while inside the convention center

Can I make changes to the names on my reservation or can I give my ticket to a friend or family member?

No – game play tickets are non-transferrable.

All cancellations are final. It is not possible to exchange your game play ticket for an alternative date/time.

I want to ensure that my friend and I can go at the same hour. How do I do that?

Where is the Nintendo booth located?

The Nintendo booth is in the West Exhibit Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Can you accommodate a person with special needs / Is the booth wheelchair accessible?
