By attending the Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 & Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational 2019 (the “Event”) you agree to these rules and requirements, and any other rules or requirements posted at the Event. All Event attendees (“Attendees” or “you”) must obtain a badge on site prior to entering the Venue or bring their badge if provided by Nintendo prior to the Event.
Supplies of general admission (“GA”) badges are limited, and members of the general public require a GA badge to attend the Event on June 8th. On the day of the Event, approximately 600 GA badges will be handed out to the general public at the Venue. Once you obtain a badge, you are permitted to leave and come back later in the day to return to the line and enter the Venue. If an attendee leaves the line, they will lose their place in line and must move to the end of the line upon their return. All Attendees must enter the Venue no later than 30 minutes prior to the Event start time, even if the attendee previously obtained a badge. GA badges are available to the general public on a first-come basis and are limited to one badge per person, so you are advised to arrive early. THERE IS NO RE-ENTRY; ONCE YOU ENTER THE VENUE, IF YOU LEAVE, YOU CANNOT RE-ENTER.
VIP badges and additional GA badges may be issued separately at Nintendo’s sole discretion and distributed to select Attendees either by Nintendo or its partners directly or at will call. Minors (17 years of age or younger) attending the Event must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
GA Attendees will be admitted into the Venue in the order in which they are lined up. Your GA badge is not equivalent to a specific seat in the Venue. GA seating within the Venue is 1st come, 1st served (no reserving seats permitted). Nintendo reserves the right to change any Attendee’s seat in its sole discretion for any reason, including, but not limited to, if an Attendee that may appear on camera is wearing apparel or otherwise is displaying content that is inappropriate, or offensive or references third party brands, logos or trademarks.
Attendees must not bring the following items onto the premises: weapons, markers, skateboards, lighters, controlled substances, large containers, gum, stickers, recording devices (excluding cell phones and any recording devices possessed by authorized media), food or beverages (other than empty plastic sports bottles or medically necessary items). All prop weapons must be submitted to Event security for inspection and approval prior to entering the Venue. Prop weapons are only permitted onto the premises if approved by Event security, which approval is subject to Event security’s sole discretion. Nintendo reserves the right to limit backpacks, large bags, prop weapons and similar items.
Your Event badge is a revocable license to attend the Event on a specific date. As a condition of this license, Attendee agrees to comply with all rules and requirements of the Event and Venue. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of this license without compensation.
By entering the Event, Attendee: (a) consents to reasonable search of all items carried onto the premises; (b) assumes all risks occurring before, during, and after the Event, including injury by any cause, and releases Nintendo, Venue, and their respective representatives and personnel from all related claims; and (c) agrees that he/she will not film, record, or transmit or aid in filming, recording, or transmitting any picture, video, audio, or other reproduction of the Event and that Nintendo is the exclusive owner of all copyrights and other proprietary rights in same. In addition, by entering the Event, Attendee gives Nintendo of America Inc., and anyone authorized by Nintendo, irrevocable permission to: photograph and/or record Attendee in connection with the Event; edit and modify any resulting photographs, recordings or other media or materials (the “Photographs and Recordings”); and use the Photographs and Recordings and Attendee’s likeness, persona, voice and statements from the Photographs or Recordings in any manner or media in connection with the commercial, promotional, industry and/or internal purposes of Nintendo, its affiliates and promotional partners, without any compensation to Attendee.
Badges for the Event are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Take care of your Event badge, as it can’t be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed, and is valid only for the Event. NO RE-ENTRY INTO THE VENUE WILL BE PERMITTED ONCE YOU ARE ADMITTED.
